Valve has today announced Counter-Strike 2, which will be arriving in Summer 2023 and they've released some details on what's changed.

    @Ninmi @gaming it’s been a while since I’ve thought about counterstrike, or halflife or valve as a game company.

    Wonder why now Im guessing it’s still used competitively?

      My understanding is that CSGO is actually at its peak popularity right now. I wonder if Valorant was siphoning the playerbase and if this’ll slow it down. I haven’t actively played the game since 1.6.
