this certainly isn’t the main takeaway and hopefully it won’t be the main area of repercussions for what appear to be pretty worthwhile allegations, but this is incredibly fortuitously timed for elon musk and basically only elon musk. as far as i’m aware he’s already trying to meet with the whistleblower here to try and bolster his case against twitter. definitely raises some eyebrows.

as funny as that’d be it’s far more likely he turns it into something more odious; i think it’s pretty safe to characterize musk as an actively harmful human being in almost everything he does and i would not expect that to be any different if he ran twitter.
I find it hard to imagine how twitter could be more odious than now. Chances are, if musk buys the site a lot of people will stop using it, and that would already be an improvement.
