Yes, I said it and mean it.

It has ‘NPCs’ that feel way more alive than anything bethesda ever put out and even an anarchist faction that so far acts like actual anarchists do/would in real life not the common idea of anarchists in most media.

Apart from the ocassional crashes (even with the patch), this is a great game/mod and I highly recommend trying it out if you have Fallout 4.

Edit: You can get it here

Instructions on how to install on Steam are here

Instructions on how to install on linux are here (though you can skip installing Buffout as the latest patch has it already). I do recommend installing it through Heroic if you have a gog account though, makes it a lot easier than Lutris ime.

Make sure you turn off weapon debris, you can do this by finding Fallout4Prefs.ini for both Fallout 4 and Fallout London (just in case) and setting the following options thusly:

[NVFlex] bNVFlexEnable=0 iQuality=0 bNVFlexInstanceDebris=0 bNVFlexDrawDebris=0

I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed. I’ve been dying for a Bugthesda IP game but made with competence. I’ll still be dreaming of an announcement for Obsidian making Fallout 5

I mean imo The Outer Worlds is somewhat close, but I get not exactly the same.

Yeah, I’m looking forward to their fantasy game too.

Yes, close but not quite right. I want that level of writing and mechanical competence, but in the world of Fallout.

I can’t say I’m looking forward to the fantasy as much, just not the genre/vibe I’m after. I’m still pretty full up on fantasy from The Witcher 3, which should say something.
