Not really. The Kurds were Erdoğan’s closest alliest from 2002 to 2014 against the secular Turkish democracy. Since then they have been going through a really messy divorce.
I mean… he went into another country just to attack the Kurds, pissing off the US in the process. Seems to have gone a bit beyond messy divorce.
