As I previously told elsewhere, Finnish far-righters, antivaxxers and other whackos decided to ape Canadian trucker convoys and copy their agenda of “freedom”.

What is the result? Small amount of trucks reached the Finnish Parliament House as the police made restrictions on heavy traffic in the city centre. Many trucks trying to reach the Parliament house were stopped. So basically the protest against COVID restrictions and mandates turned into a “normal” protest with no emphasis on truckers. Compared to what has happened in Canada, this is somewhat tame.

Many people supporting the convoy movement are of course streaming the event and the streams yield plenty of camp comedy value. The convoy’s members decided to set up a Zello, but many several people infiltrated the channel and streamed it on YouTube. It was pure comedy gold, trolls trolling trolls. Many people have watched the streams because of the comedy value, me included. Basically the rest of Finland is laughing at these convoy idiots. The circus has come to Helsinki!
