I’m going to start telling chicks at pubs this is what I do at my city’s local zoo but I’m not going to exaggerate the flight numbers like this bloke cause I don’t want to sound like a workaholic and then later disappoint her.

I’m going to try this one too in my tiny village in the middle of nowhere. I’m straight up just going to claim we have a zoo.

It is also basic logic that those numbers don’t add up. 24/2000 = 43 seconds. Assuming 12 hours of daylight it is down to about 20 seconds. There is not a lot you can do in 20 seconds. And certainly not pick up 32 penguins every 20 seconds for 12 hours straight.

Last time I was at a zoo was Milwaukee. The penguin house was the most foul smelling thing I’d ever inhaled, outside of human gangrene.

I feel bad for that kid. Whatever he’s being paid, it’s not enough.

Forever ago I had The Sims 2 or 3 or some shit and there were mods you could download.

One person made a pet penguin. And it would just shit everywhere and the Sims would be mad because everything was always dirty.

That convinced me that penguins are probably not the best pets.

Is it worse than pig farms? You can smell them miles away depending on the wind direction, and being inside the building with stalls of piglets still haunts me lol.

About Edinburgh Airport Flights to Edinburgh come into Edinburgh Airport, which is the busiest airport in Scotland and the 6th busiest in the UK, with 11.13 million passengers passing through in 2015 (that’s an average of 30,495 air passengers a day). The airport hosts over 313 flights a day, with 32 airlines serving 173 routes to 122 destinations. No matter where you are in the world, flying to Edinburgh has never been so easy.

      Is 2000 over 313?

Yes but also technically an airplane is different flight number when it comes to the airport and when it leaves. These are 2 distinct flights.

So by saying that the airport hosts 313 flights it most probably accounts both directions. Unless they mean it hosts 313 outgoing flights

A plane starts the day at the airport, does an even number of flights back and forth, and then one last flight and ends it at another airport. Repeat the next day but in reverse.

The way I described it, there would be an odd number of flights every day, so the average will also be odd.

Imagine there was only one flight. Day 1 it leaves Edinburgh and lands at Heathrow. Day 2 it leaves Heathrow and lands back in Edinburgh. Then repeat again. There is exactly one flight every day, so the average is odd.

Why do people need to make this shit up? There’s no money in it. And no one cares who created it, so there’s no 15 minute of fame.
