The cause of the blaze has yet to be ascertained but initial reports suggested a battery charger may have overheated.
Friendly reminder that this can happen to anyone.

WHAT DID YOU DOOOOOO???
Edit: Does that tag him? I thought it would be clickable…
It seems to work with Voyager
Like, how does this happen? Were there not firefighters at the fire station? Surely a fire at a fire station would be extraordinarily simple to extinguish given that everything and everyone is already assembled. State of the art? Huh? And what kind of fire code is that? You don’t need a fire alarm because this building just holds equipment. Yeah. And people.
The home directly next door to our town fire station (less than 200 yards away) burned down when I was in high school. Also it was also the fire chief’s former house.
We kinda always assumed it was for insurance money, but I really have no idea.
“That’s not how fires are supposed to work!”
“I’ll just put this fire over here with the other fire”
LMAO
Unfortunately, but yeah.
Stuff like this tends to be an “everyone assumed someone else was on it”.
I have a dream. It’s not a big dream, it’s just a little dream. My dream - and I hope you don’t find this too crazy - is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can’t have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, “Whatever you do, don’t call the fire department!” That would be bad.
