    Honestly I’ve posted more to Lemmy in the last couple days than I have on Reddit in the last 8 years - it’s easier because Lemmy feels like a smaller place… Like announcing yourself to a small room of people vs getting on a soapbox on a crowded main street.

      On Reddit I always felt like anything I’d have to say would be completely pointless, because who scrolls down 1000 comments anyhow?

      As for posts… The threshold does feel lower here.

      that’s a pretty nice way of putting it. i saw someone else saying that it’s feeling like the forums from back in the day
