Many workers don’t have any paid leave. Illinois has become the third state to require employers to provide paid leave that workers can use for any reason, not just sickness
Should be federal law, but instead we’re a backwards ass country that thinks we need to do the 1950s over again but without the higher taxes on corporations and the rich. And then we as a country wonder why we have problems funding things without printing money.
