    Perkele. I’ll get into this in the coming days and ask the devs behind Lemmy or Pictrs if necessary. But I understood that thumbnails don’t appear with images of certain specs?

      it seems only pictures made with my Pixel 7 Pro are affected, yes.
      at the moment I can’t say what exactly is causing it. as a next step I’ll try to remove all the unnecessary meta/exif data manually and check if that makes a difference. else I’m kinda out of ideas.

      edit: ok, I’ve tried now with a picture, where I cleaned all the meta data with exiftool. and it also doesn’t show up.

      edit 2: loading the image URL, I got an error that something didn’t work with the request. but like a complete idiot, I refreshed before copying the error message and now the error doesn’t show up again
