preface: it seems pictures made with the Pixel 7 Pro aren’t shown correctly as an image post, but only in the post body or comment, when inserted.
as it seems that it’s not the file size, I’ve now cleaned the meta data from the image with ‘exiftool -all=remove’

I wonder if its related to the resolution?, i noticed the ones that dont upload are all 3072x4080, could that be something related?. maybe some weird edge case bug?
had the same thought and tried a much larger picture
https://sopuli.xyz/post/640216as it’s not the size, not the exif data and seemingly not the resolution, I’m starting to suspect some codec optimization it something in the Pixel.
it’s also strange that the picture shows without issues in the post body or comment - don’t know if it’s a different library that handles that
