History repeats itself right ? Before Hubble’s telescope, scientists were saying : “it will show the hedge of the universe, where there is no Galaxies yet formed”. Remind me in 6 months.

Strongly agree with some, and strongly disagree with other, of the things you say here. And i don’t know what is “id-git” … maybe it is better if i don’t know ?

Space is unimaginably vast. It is overwhelmingly unlikely we’ll even fully understand a tiny fraction of it even if we explore until yhr end of the universe.

Maybe before you attack an achievement like Webb you should ask why there’s a bunch of Hubble level telescopes in orbit pointed towards earth.

Having said that, it will be really cool to see the infrared light that other space telescopes are unable to pick up.

      “pour money”
ok, if i read this correctly, together with your previous post : You are saying this is a waste of money, even worse : We are destroying ourselves with this.

What i am saying is : before science there was mythology or any such things.
Before wasting money people were wasting goods for such things.
Such things answers a humane need.

      “no guns required”
i like peaceful people (Amish), still I believe we need progress.
