It appears to help if you get a new identity when using Tor.

Firefox (with strict security settings) combined with NextDNS and uBlock Origin seems to get around all the tracking nonsense.
A good alternative is Librewolf imho as it comes with many privacy-friendly settings by default. Maybe this is interesting for users less tech savvy or for those who just want to avoid investing time changing the Firefox settings.
I agree wholeheartedly.
On which platform did you get this result?
I’m not able to avoid this particular tracking. It might be because of a difference between desktop/mobile platform, or a different DNS provider.

Firefox on Android with strict tracking protection doesn’t seem to block this king of fingerprint :(
And the user experience of Tor Browser on Android sucks. If your threat model doesn’t include your device being stolen, even the lowest security setting is so restrictive that it’s painful to use.
TFA mentions setting about:config on android; I’d like to know where they’re getting their Firefox from, because thet’s not available on mine.
Don’t worry about it. It would matter more if your hardware, your processor was secure, i.e. it would just execute the code which you command it to execute and nothing else!
