I don’t think flying helicopters for the russian military is a great way to live long regardless of whether your ass is physically on an ejection seat or not.
Can you trust that the mechanics did the work they said they did for maintenance? Can you trust the quality of parts that are put into the helicopter as replacements when the original kit breaks down? Can you trust the lifespan definitions set out for crucial parts by the government to be realistic? Can you trust the air defenses in the area to not just blindly fire off rockets at you every time you pop up on their radar?
