    In this new era of drone warfare, nowhere is safe because drones are small enough to be smuggled pretty much anywhere. This should trouble everyone, especially in the U.S., as it wouldn’t be too difficult for an enemy to smuggle drones in (or build them in the U.S.), and then use them to attack targets. Imagine the havoc that could be wreaked by just 10 drones in a major city like NY or LA.

      I have seen some news about different countries developing container based drone launchers. Drone launchers can be packaged in a standart shipping container, and loaded on any truck or container ship, and then they can be used similarly to what ukraine did in spiderweb operation.

      Yes and no, russia is uniquely terrible at counter drone technology, at a macro doctrine level they are incompetent and unable to evolve to protect against it.

      Drones represent a major new threat, but this different this is russia admitting it has decisively lost the drone war.
