Ukraine’s largest agricultural holding, Kernel, launched a partnership with NASA Harvest to provide field data to develop advanced satellite-based agricultural monitoring systems.
NASA Harvest, NASA’s global food security and agriculture consortium, uses satellite imagery and machine learning to evaluate crop structures and sustainability practices. By integrating real-time data from Ukrainian fields, the consortium refines its algorithms to confirm farming techniques and yield estimates. Kernel expects it will improve global analytical models for crop identification and soil tillage assessment
