I drink instant coffee. Those jars are thicker than bullet proof glass. I would not want to be hit by one.

Good point, why are these instant coffee jars either the thickest, heaviest glass or flimsy plastic? Never in between.

And it’s either a months worth, or two days. There’s gotta be some serious science behind it all.

Month’s worth: so much there you binge drink it in 2 days and buy more

2 days’ worth: so little you end up paying x50 the price

The world has gone so far off the rails, we have lived to see Nestlé become the good guys.

How very Australian. It’s a small jump from fending off an attacker with venom to doing it with instant coffee.

Americans: we prefer guns, but we’ll use damn near anything. We just happen to be famous for using guns for everything from ordering takeaway to getting our hair cut.

I walk to the shops with robust cloth bags and it often happens that I’ll have a bag with glass jars or cans or thicc 1L reusable juice bottles.

And yeah, the thought has crossed my mind that if someone were to threaten me, I’d just start flailing them. Would need to take care, though, so I don’t accidentally kill them…
