Th bulk of people on here have no concept of what conservative is because they can’t name any group on the political right who disagree with conservatives. They can’t list any views of people on the political right who are against conservatism.
I can’t quite put my finger on how but, compared to last year, I feel like the content here has been much more relatable lately.
Mod was removed/acct deleted and the sub had no mod, so people started shitposting. New mod was appointed recently

C’mon guys meet me in the middle please! It’s only fair to compromise. How about instead of me blowing up your entire family, I just get to blow up half of them? That’d be the smart and reasonable move. You want to be smart and reasonable right?
Conservative doesn’t mean wanting lower taxes. It means the other thing. The lower taxes thing was always about the other thing anyway.

If conservatives become convinced they cannot win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. They will reject democracy.

No, it’s bigotry. They don’t just hate other races.
It’s actually classism. The first conservatives were literally monarchists, and nothing has changed since except maybe replacing ruling by “divine right” with “he who has the gold makes the rules.” The single defining criterion of conservatives is that their worldview is hierarchical and zero-sum. They are authoritarian followers who crave subjugation.
The bigotry is just a convenient way of defining the classes according to easily-visible characteristics.
No, it’s not just classism. They hate anyone who isn’t a rich straight white male. That’s a minimum of 4 different demographics.
