I only use it on my git forge. The structure of git means that there’s a lot of links for crawlers to crawl, which gets annoying. I also don’t want my code to be used by AI. I don’t use it for my blog because:
If your browser doesn’t have a Mozilla user agent (I.e. like chrome or Firefox) it will pass directly. Most AI crawlers use these user agents to pretend to be human users
