She seems to keep her politics quiet, however these public displays land her on the right side of things. I don’t know her and don’t care one way or the other what side she’s on, I just want to be sure she’s getting a fair assessment without her dad’s shadow hanging over her.
I agree, makes no sense to hold someone accountable for other people’s views and actions, if she’s willing to stand up for her own views that’s all it takes.
I’d argue that what she’s doing is even more admirable, simply because it’s super fucking easy to fall into the “my parents voted this way so I do too” mindset. Pretty much every small town in America is full of people who were steeped in hate while growing up, have never known anything else, and fully plan on continuing the family tradition when they have kids of their own. It would be easy for her to just keep her head down and coast along on her father’s coattails. But she has actively refused to do so.
If Kamala doesn’t get the Dubya endorsement I am not voting for her. I only listen to the worst of war criminals for political guidance.

They’re acting like getting endorsements from the families of Bush and Cheney is like getting an endorsement from Ronald Regan, but Bush and Cheney were not popular at the end of their administration; they started two interminable wars and ended with the largest recession in recent history. Trump cut his teeth in 2016 by trashing George Bush and curb-stomping his brother in the primary. Conservatives who are still open to Trump probably aren’t huge fans of the Bush family! All this is doing is demoralizing the progressive base and showing conservatives that the kind of Republicans they rejected in 2016 support Harris.

This US election is not about who wins, but who doesn’t win. Project 2025 is an attack on democracy and fair elections as a whole. Want to argue about actual political issues? Vote blue. Want to fight for fundamental rights the next 4 years? Vote red, 3rd party or just don’t vote.
Using a 3rd party vote to protest the system is saying you’re choosing between equal evils.
