For some reason this has made me lol so much. Simple and stupid. And love how Jeff just fucks off out of frame getting worse at it.

I’ve had a few house mates from Japan and Taiwan. They always had a weird issue overemphasising and misusing English swear words. I had to teach them how to swear properly so they didn’t sound like psychos.

I’ll never forget, “Are you fucking kid me?!”

I was in stitches. “Bro, it’s “kidding” and you emphasise that, not the “fucking” part. Like this… Are you fucking kidding me?”

I love the way Russians carry over their curse-as-punctuation into English. I don’t know russian enough to really describe what’s going on that well, but they usually toss the blayt on the end of a sentence, but it feels different than how we do in English. Like, if we say ‘this fucking guy’ it’s very different than ‘this guy, fuck!’ There’s a lot more anger to it, right? But you can catch Russians saying in english ‘this guy, fucking…’ when they want to convey the feeling of ‘this fucking guy.’ I love it every time I catch it.

I have definitely used “are you fucking me”. I was indeed being fucked and not in a pleasant way.

In aq40 I raided with an actual priest as rl, and he was this bad. It was a combination of him resisting being wrathful when we would wipe, but we also sucked and wiped on the twins like 30 times in one night. One of the most awkward things to hear him unravel and stutter through a few “what the hell fuck guys”

I’ve actually heard that one before lol, but it was from an accountant who was a bit of an artiste when it came to profanity, definitely not a priest.
