Yes! Maybe I can stop getting so many tryhards in my games now.

Edit: The rest of the update seems huge as well. Lots of changes to the game pace and a couple of heroes, and now you need to actually get close to guardians to shoot them.

    • Mirage still loves the Djinn, but he yells about them less frequently

      I saw this patch note, and went into a match trying to hit the weak point. I don’t think they do have weak points???

    All heroes’ movespeed increased by 0.3 (Enduring Speed reduced by 0.3)

    Nice.

    Paradox: Fixed Time Wall not being spawned when looking down while casting

    Paradox’s wall turns into a mine. Sneaky.

      Move speed change is so nice. A lot of the heroes base-speeds felt like molasses.

    Huge patch. So much stuff I’ll need to try out to get a feel for. Was praying for a McGinnis nerf but she was maybe buffed? Or was she? Hard to parse.

    Guardian changes look good, more lane safety early on was probably needed as losing a guardian in the first couple minutes was way too easy. I’ll miss sliding on the stairs to conserve ammo shooting guardians though.

    The midboss change looks good and a step in the right direction. Hopefully with these stats giving away the first midboss isn’t a complete death sentence.

    Urn changes are amazing and will create so many more gameplay opportunities between seeing it on the map and being able to knock it out of enemies’ hands.

    I’m very interested to see if green item meta changes. The tweak to movespeed and Enduring Speed tells me IceFrog’s intention is for that item to be optional - not mandatory on every single hero as it was before.

    Finally seeing Ammo Scav addressed, which was completely broken for so long. Also RIP Torment Pulse, it was nice to spam you on almost every character but you were too good to be true. o7 my friend.

      It’s so much easier to defend now. One game I was abled to take down 4 of the other team by myself when they were pushing our base because there’s no cover anymore. More likely I surprised them, but I’m not sure what else they could have done.

      McGinnis turret spam was at least nerfed a fair bit, losing the extra turret charge hurts

    This update seems to have introduced performance issues for some players. I was getting really bad hitching today and other players in my games were reporting the same.
