That makes no sense. It’s sexist too. Look at it from this angle… If we didn’t know anything about who Taylor Swift was and how she behaved herself, and we only knew she signs on a see thru bikini, then things would be different. Ohhh these are her $4000 panties! Save them for prosperity. But instead we have an instrument she uses to transform her intellectual prominence into music and now it’s gotta trash that shit. It’s evil. If she was a Republican racist piece of shit they would be taking that guitar to some altar somewhere. Ultimately it’s a sexist action where they don’t value her political views.

It reminds me of the weirdoes buying wine to splill it down the drain when France had the audacity of telling the truth in the un during the whole Irak mess. Of course the wine makers and sellers were fine with that.

Or all the homophobes transphobes weirdos who bought a bunch of bud light only to shoot it after fox news told them to be absolutely outraged over a limited edition 6 pack in canada that they never would have heard about otherwise

She endorsed a lady for prez, so we should performatively destroy things linked with her. It totally makes sense. /s

    Sigh…

It’s hardly even linked to her. Like she has no connection to the guitar, it means nothing. I always wonder what’s in these people’s heads. It’s easy to say nothing, but he had this idea, he thought it’s a good idea, he maybe even told someone about that idea, he had time to think about his idea, and still thought it’s a good idea?

I’d do this to a conservative celebrity, but for $4000 I could buy Kevin Sorbo’s whole sad fucking life.

So I watched the video and watched as the guy was handed the hammer with the guitar. Was the auction a chance to destroy the guitar or just the guitar? Cause it looks like the former and the media is just reporting what will piss people off.

I tried to “fix” the misleading headlines with my title as most sites make it sound like it was Taylor Swift’s own guitar that she signed. Sensational and highly inaccurate is what 99% of current media does now. Gotta get those clicks.

Shame about the guitar, but on the bright side: This seems like a good way to trick conservatives into donating to charities.

    1. celebrity angers conservatives by being normal
    2. celebrity donates merch to charity
    3. charity starts an auction for merch
    4. conservatives buy it

Oh not at all… he still gave his money to the same charity as someone who would have loved and cherished the guitar, all he’s accomplished is making himself $4000 poorer and being publicly known as a weirdo.
