I mean she started it, it’s a response from another Congresswoman after MTG attacked AOC’s appearance.

It wasn’t AOC’s appearance that was attacked. AOC just jumped to her (Jasmine Crockett’s) defense after MTG attacked Crockett. Crockett, then, fired back at Greene.

Thanks for the clarification, I only saw an abridged clip of MTG’s original comment and AOC looking frustrated, so I thought the comments were towards her and not Crockett.

I feel like a lot of people don’t. It’s just so insane it makes the news whenever she word vomits. She thrives on the controversy. I think deep down she knows she’s in too deep and just keeps doubling down. I kinda wish she’d have a aneurysm in the middle of a foaming at the mouth rant.

Except its about impeaching Biden. So, you know, we agree with them on not following through on that one.

How I feel about this whole tirade is summed up well by Buck:

“ The Constitution says Congress shall count the votes. Doesn’t say Congress may overturn an election result. It doesn’t say Congress can do whatever the heck it wants with this election. ‘Shall count the votes,’ that’s what the Constitution says. In her CrossFit class maybe they didn’t cover that,” Buck told a local radio show

" And it also, the Constitution, also says that, you know, the impeachment of a president shall be based on treason, high crimes, and misdemeanors. It doesn’t say it’s a political exercise and we hope the Senate does the right thing."

If a Congressional House Majority announces “Trump won liberals can go pound sand”, what exactly are the liberals going to do about it? Beg the Supreme Court to beg the House leadership to stop saying Trump won?

At some level, the political system is about people obeying other people. Democracy creates an aura of legitimacy to an individual assuming office, but dictatorship has its own means of asserting control. Should the House Majority have enough governors on board and a SCOTUS majority swears him in and the police/national guard are MAGA pilled already, who exactly stops Trump from waltzing into office, kicking up his shoes on the Resolute desk, and announcing “I’m President now”?

That’s assuming we’re in an uncontested election and House Reps tell the electoral college to piss off. If there’s any room for doubt as to who won the election, we’re right back at Bush v Gore, with a Republican court majority announcing the winner and the House simply rubber stamping the results.

Not no reason. It’s the way she got to power and keeps herself in power. Generate all the bullshit and outrage you possibly can and keep yourself in the news cycle. Then go to your supports and shout: See? I’m pissing off all the libs, I must be doing something right!

These people might seem dumb, but it’s all planned and calculated. They are the lowest of the lowest and aren’t afraid to turn themselves into a dumb idiot when it suits their needs.

The only defense we would have was if social media didn’t exist and the actual media would act responsible. The only reason their tricks work is because it keeps them in peoples eye. If we were to ignore these pieces of shit, they wouldn’t get anywhere.

Of course, the border problem is Joe Biden’s fault, enough to impeach, but Trump has/had no responsibility. Amazing cognitive dissonance from the dumbest member of Congress.

Republicans continually have their head up their ass and can’t figure out how to actually use the power that the people gave us

Exactly what power did the American people give the republicans? They have a slight majority in the House of Representatives. That’s it. They are in the minority in the Senate and they don’t control the White House. If they did manage to impeach Biden in the House, it’s not like the Senate would vote to convict. And honestly, the only reason the Republicans have the slim majority in the House that they do is because of the absurd levels of gerrymandering they’ve pulled off in red states. Frankly, if it weren’t for all the gerrymandering, I’m pretty sure the Dems would have control of the House too.

So again, what power did the American people give the Republicans?

I guarantee that with the amount of time you hear about this woman, positively of negatively, she will attempt to become the new Trump when he kicks the bucket (or otherwise taken out of commission) and all the fascists will happily line up behind her because she’s just as fascist and well known.

Oh, Margie… You wanted a platform and you got it. Then you didn’t know how to use it. I wish you had more success, what with your psychotic delusions and crazy belief in conspiracy theories, but the world just keeps on truckin’. Even the orange man didn’t support you when you wanted to oust your religious-nut-job Speaker, who monitors the porn his son watches (Is there a term for getting off on watching your kids get off, like with wife cucking? If there is, that’s him.)

Poor Margie. No one wants to play with you. I guess maybe you should take your ball and go home. Go home, Margie, and forget this whole charade you played in politics. No one will miss you but me. And only ironically, but hey – that’s better than nothing.

Its all just part of the act. She’s running the same “They’ve gone Woke!” playbook on the GOP that the GOP aims at everyone else. She’s not any more self aware than any of the other members of her party. She just knows this is a thing you can say to get attention in a field of candidates all competing to be the Most Based Republican.

As soon as she’s in a position to do more than complain, there’s going to be a younger, blonder, tanner MGT complaining that she’s not hard core enough.

It’s a ratchet, turning everything always and forever into a more extreme right-wing policy. And the tighter the ratchet gets, the more pressure and pain the rest of us feel.
