What game store do you have it on?
On steam make sure Proton is on.
On epic games use Heroic.

Its just because Fedora tries to focus on new technology, if you dont like that, choose another distro.

Proton is designed for gaming and its a fork of Wine, designed for gaming contains alot of tools and patches for gaming compared to regular wine.
