Supporters include environmentalists who say it would reduce animal cruelty and potentially help slow climate change. Meat and dairy together account for about 14.5 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, according to the United Nations.
Its funny that consumers and lawmakers think that the meat department is where this stuff is headed.
Processed food manufacturers are pissing themselves over the idea that they can just build a factory to cut out dairy farmers, egg farmers and ranchers. You think Ten Ton Tessie is going to turn the catering size box of cookies at costco around and read the ingredients to make sure the eggs and milk arent plant based or lab grown? Fuck no.
