Arc themes with Papirus icons feels kinda basic, but I think it looks nice. I tend to mix it up on this system every so often.
I might switch from the Ubuntu font to DejaVu Sans.

Arc theme variation coupled with Paper icon theme is my go-to look for a couple of years now. It’s not a “rice”, but looks nice and doesn’t distract me.
Arc theme with Papirus is what I have right now on my xfce setups. Even have the same thing on kde right now its just a great combination.
I swear by the IBM Plex fonts; maybe give that a shot?
