Personally my favourite superhero movie is still Birdman.
I kinda liked the change. I don’t think the squid would have made sense in the context of the movie without a ton of setup. And it was already a long-ass movie.
I think they’re commenting on all the people who thought it was amazing because they’d mostly been exposed to Marvel movies.
