Are you being serious? One of the first things he did after taking office in 2021 was to open more concentration camps at the border. Every US liberal I encountered downplayed this categorically fascist act. US liberals even claimed Biden “had no other choice” and some even went so far as to claim this was a good thing.
As someone who’s had friends and family who’ve experienced the inhumane conditions in these camps, I’m not so easily fooled.
This is but one of a long list of examples of US Democrats enabling fascism and human rights violations, sometimes in the name of compromise, often for the mustache-twirlingly evil goal of protecting a capitalist economy at all costs.
Democrats are not a leftist party. They’re not even leftist-adjacent.

Liberal as in classical liberal? Ehh, by definition they like civil liberties so probably not. Liberal as in Democrat? Absurd. They literally have the DSA in the party. Words mean things.
I’m not from the US and it has been funny to see everybody call everybody else liberal. To this very say I still have no clue what which group means when they call someone liberal, yet it seems never to be a good thing.
Liberal in common American usage refers to the political left in general. Technically it means an ideology that promotes democracy, free markets, individual liberties, civil rights and social programs. People often use this term when they mean social liberalism.
However, people on the right in the US use it as a pejorative and generally use it as a term to, “other,” with and associate with what they consider the more negative aspects of the left in general. The irony is that until recently the US right themselves practiced classical liberalism, though they are now dabbling in christofascism.

It seems like you may have missed the point here.
It’s not saying that Republicans don’t also support fascism. It doesn’t need to because that’s something they do in public. You don’t need to post quite confronting pictures proving something that everyone already knows.
It’s saying that liberals will side with fascism if they think the only other option available is socialism, because by and large their interests align with the capital owning class.
They may not openly side with facists like Republicans do now, but the second that the interests of capital are truly threatened, liberals will be right next to their maga brothers.
