    In an Internet argument, it usually takes like 2-3 replies in to figure out if a person is arguing in good or bad faith.

    If they are arguing in bad faith, there is no reason not to block them, they are wasting your time

      Addendum to that: write a post explaining to everyone else how and why they’re arguing in bad faith, then block them. It’s the most effective way to curb their bullshit.

      That’s assuming blocking works though, which it doesn’t on Lemmy.
