You’re just as disaffected as everyone else and the day you realize it’s because the system you’re defending is the problem is the day everything will make sense to you
I’m not stuck in here with you. You’re stuck in here with me.
And as I escape, or fight back, you whine and demand I stop, because it is a threat to your existence and you know it as well as I do.
The one mistake I had been making over the years was thinking people like you are potential allies simply because you’re in the same boat as me, but you are clearly not. You’re part of the problem. You know the system exploits and enslaves everyone who is a part of it, you know it purposefully enables major crimes like rape, murder and abuse to keep us peasants in line without them having to wield the whips themselves, you know no one who works full time throughout their adult lives will get the benefits they were promised because it was all a lie.
What you don’t know is that you’re being chewed up and spit out all the same and that you’re not ever going to get to be a member of the ruling class like you want because everything you’re defending is hurting you, too.
One day you’ll get it. You’re the type that won’t get it until you’re 50 or 60, probably not until Social Security finally tanks and it comes out the trillions put into it have mysteriously disappeared somehow. And somehow, mysteriously, Jeff Bezos and the rest of the rich will have built an O’Neill cylinder by then, and left you to rot in the wastes with the rest of us. The rest of us, who you purposefully beat down to protect them thinking it was gonna get you someplace.
Have fun wasting your life serving some snake who will throw you away the second you outlive your usefulness to him. I’m sure in your dreams Saruman will remember you and give you special treatment, Orc #4749384.
Meanwhile the rest of us will escape, or fight back, and live meaningful lives.
throw you away the second you outlive your usefulness to him
My boss is a woman, and you’ve just described every business relationship. If they don’t pay me what I’m worth, I’ll leave, too. Work isn’t a marriage.
Meanwhile the rest of us will escape, or fight back, and live meaningful lives.
Okay then, she doesn’t care about you and will fire you the second it’s convenient or necessary for her. And then you’ll be exploited by some other piece of shit, and another, and another. Amd you’ll never get the wealth you want; the system’s designed that way.
It might be hard for you to hear, but it’s the truth. Indenturing yourself to some dipshit for sustenance will not benefit you long term. Not even short term, really.

🤷 Lesson learned, I guess.
Didn’t read lol
Oh, yes you did.
Unless you think your boss cares about you, which they don’t.
My boss does indeed care about me. But then, I have a real job and a specialized skillsets, because I’m more than a few years out of my undergrad.
Some day you’ll be valuable. Keep studying!
Lol tell yourself that.

You’re 0/3 there big guy.

Projection
I’m not exploited. I sell my skills and knowledge for an agreed-upon rate (that the rate is very high is immaterial).
I already have the wealth I want. I’m not 0/3, you are.
