I was planning on just using a schedule, by using paper and pins on a corkboard to organize what I do from day-to-day.
but many times I forgot to do something because I was too distracted at doing one thing on the computer.
Is there a software I can use, a To-do list or a schedule app, that has reminders?
I’m using Archlinux + DWM so if there are keybindings that’s a plus.
todo.txt has a vim plugin
Another good todo.txt client for linux is QTodoTxt2. On android I use simpletask cloudless.
taskell has Vim key bindings and is very intuitive, although I also suggest learning how to use
org-mode
in the long runthanks, this seems like what I was looking for.
Planner is the best to-do list application. Very beautiful UI.
That looks good!
I’ll try it out
is it on aur?
you got the answer :)
Personally I use Nextcloud Tasks and Nextcloud Decks because sync between devices is a key feature for me but if you don’t need it you can find better native desktop applications than Nextcloud’s web UI.
I only use a thinkpad laptop, don’t need syncing for now. I don’t even have a phone.
Maybe: https://orgmode.org/ (for emacs)
I’m a vim user (and I don’t understand emacs)

I heard good things about TaskWarrior
If you already use thunderbird, that would be a good option ?
remind
is a bit more complex but quite useful.Actually i use it as a reminder app, not a todo one. I convert my CalDAV entries to remind with a simple awk script to keep me “reminded” on my Desktop when my phone is not around.
I’ll try this
