I don’t know much about this situation, but it seems appropriate that the plant should temporarily be shut down, all radioactive materials removed. This would probably leave a lot of people without power though because this plant is one of the biggest in Europe and provides a lot of electricity.

Most appropriate would be Putin calling off his army and apologising his brothers for attacking and murdering them.

No, the most appropriate would be Zelensky following the Minsk accords and calling off his army and apologising his brothers for attacking and murdering them. Then Russia would have no reason to intervene.

So, Russia has troops inside the power plant, and they are apparently holding workers at gunpoint so they keep producing electricity. Ukraine, as expected, has decided not to attack those Russian troops and endanger the rest of us in the world, while stupid Russians are shelling their own positions and halting the production that they themselves are attempting to keep going. They are probably not stopping even when the prospect of a nuclear catastrophe is pushing international forces to act, as Mr Zelenskyy has many times requested, probably eventually expelling Russian forces from the area. As stupid as they are, they don’t realize that the attacks they are performing only benefit the military interests of Ukraine, and not their own… Thankfully, that Chinese official has stated that "all parties […] exercise maximum restraint”, and by “all parties” we should of course understand they’re referring specifically to Russia, just like the article states in its title, as they are clearly the ones performing the attacks.

Edit: /s, for the sake of fuck

Russia should withdraw its military from the power plant. Using it as cover for their soldiers and ammunition is cowardly and a huge safety risk for the civilian population.

As for the comments on here talking about western MSM bias - give me a break. There is one aggressor here, a crazy russian authoritarian regime and army attacking a democratic country under some very ridiculous pretenses. Not to mention the disgusting way they have targeted the civilians.

Is this a parody? Or do you really believe that Russia is shooting at its own troops, and at territory it completely controls?

I was being sarcastic, yes. For some reason, people are just accepting that narrative (hey, people have different versions of the facts, I can understand that) without even questioning whether it makes sense at all.

Same as others. Maybe it’s because I’m from Poland and some Russian politicians claimed that Poland will be next after Ukraine? Maybe of history of Poland being wrecked by so called „brothers“ so many times? Maybe because I understand how does Soviet and now Russian imperialistic stance works? Or maybe because some country’s army invaded their neighbours and have been killing many since few months?

So why are they saying such statements?
Nah, I don’t use Twitter, I don’t like corporate social media. And the only Nazis currently are Russians, so you clearly see that I am not supporting Nazis.
