Pixelfed is really great and im excited for the app. The developer really cares about the project and app and listens to users needs especially when it comes to safety. Glad he’s the one at the helm of it.

does this work? @dansup@pixelfed.social I think hes also on lemmy @dansup@lemmy.ml

oh wow that did work i wonder if his pixelfed account got notified from @ing him. The fediverse is so impressive

Agreed! Dansup is great. Very transparent and connected to users and developers in a down to earth way. Will respond to you if you need help and clearly cares about the project and anyone using it while valuing your input.

I was about to email the author who previously wrote about the woes of Instagram to tell about Pixelfed… but apparently it wasn’t needed. Good job!

Haha, yeah I have to give you credit for this. I first saw your post on my PixelFed account. Didn’t see it here but thought it was worth mentioning. Thanks for sharing as always!

@SteveKLord federation working as intended! I wasn’t implying I needed attribution or anything, just curious if my post was the seed! its cool to see when you post a link and then see it start diffusing

Oh, definitely! I love when it all comes back home like that. I’m newer to PixelFed than Mastodon but I love how the two services work together through federation via Activity Pub along with Lemmy, etc. Really says a lot about the Fediverse that the origins of a post can get blurry and less important
