The little rooster on the Molniya strayed into the wrong neighborhood. It wasn’t worth wasting the good Hornet on this pig-dog trash, so they just crushed him with Authority. Vanka couldn’t handle the pressure and soiled his pants. :P

Assuming the drone that’s filming is not fibre optic: Can someone here explain what kind of EW could be used that can down this drone while seemingly not at all effecting the drone that’s filming?

I always thought jamming mostly consisted of blasting noise across a bunch of frequencies, hoping to catch the frequency being used by the target. Also, don’t most modern things have mechanisms to automatically jump to a different frequency if the one they’re working with is being jammed (thereby necessitating the “blasting of many frequencies”)? I also have the impression that EW weapons have a too large area of effect (are not directed enough) to be able to hit one target while avoiding another close-by target (you can’t shoot something with a shotgun without hitting the thing next to it).

Basically, short of the filming drone being fibre optic, I have no explanation for how this can work. Can someone fill me in?

Different frequencies per target. The filming drone may be controlled by a 5ghz signal, while the russian one is at 200mhz. Also might be easier to jam a target that is further from its controller.
