I guess it helps to think of it as a spectrum (as many people do) and not a binary. I don’t know if there are term for “more on this side of the spectrum” but then again the spectrum isn’t linear. “Asperger syndrome” or Aspi for short might cover it, even though it’s obviously named after afford mentioned doctor. I’m neither part of the community nor deep into the topic. I just read this fact in the great book Doppelganger by Naomi Klein which covers a hugh variety of current topics. She doesn’t give a solution either
is there a modern equivalent that describes “i function differently from NTs, but am generally able to live my life without special accomodations”?
because i’ve been described as high functioning and never really thought much about it, but the nazi connection is…uncomfortable…
