Summary

Republicans are divided over Trump’s proposal for the U.S. to “own” Gaza and develop it into a luxury destination.

While House Speaker Mike Johnson and some lawmakers support the idea, Senators Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham express skepticism, citing concerns over military occupation and taxpayer costs.

Others, like Josh Hawley and Thom Tillis call the plan unrealistic.

Meanwhile, Trump allies like Nancy Mace enthusiastically back the proposal.

LOL you voted for a takeover and to be cast aside…that’s what you’re getting. Deal with it, or overthrow him and delete everything his Nazi friends have done to the network or deal with America never and trump first

They might be divided over it, but they own it, and if they have any Muslims in their district (or, indeed, anyone who cares about human rights) they will have to explain it to them.

But I know, GeNoCiDe JoE and all that bullshit.

Are we really in a timeline in which a fat, smelly sociopath wirh the attention span of a gnat proposes taking over a sovereign territory on the other side of the planet and actual professional politicians go on record saying that they think that’s a good idea?

It’s as if we’re being governed by insane stupid children.

It’s ok, it only seems that way because it is.

Let’s get back to work on getting together a concept of an idea to reign in the price of groceries.
