I disagree. They should be cared for until they can walk…they are of no use in the mines before that.

I’ve been telling my partner this from day one. The night the baby got home, they were on their own. They could breastfeed but only if they worked it. Now a couple months in, we just put the food in their play pen and a days worth of milk. They’re smart too! Once they ran out of food and started to eat their poopy diaper.

on the other hand, the baby owes you everything. they would be nothing without you, don’t let them forget that. i started charging my kids rent the day they got home from the hospital. it’s important they learn that nothing in life is free.

Also, it’s technically true. If you don’t want your newborn, you don’t have to keep it. The problem starts when they don’t want it but keep it anyway.

Lots of people want to adopt, not every pregnant woman wants an abortion even if they don’t want a kid. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Isn’t that part of giving women the right to choose? If they think abortion is murder and they choose not to have one, should they be forced to raise the kid? I don’t think they should.
