⚡️ SSO destroys DPRK troops in Kursk

Soldiers of the 73rd Marine Center of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the assault actions of North Korean military on one of the positions of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

During the enemy assault attempt, SSO operators opened fire from an automatic MK-19 easel grenade launcher and also carried out a series of drone drops.

As a result, SSO operators killed 12 North Korean soldiers and wounded 20 more.

In addition, SSO operators were able to provide first aid to a wounded infantryman from a friendly unit and successfully evacuated him from the battlefield.

Let’s keep working!

    From Wikipedia:

The Mk 19A is a man-portable crew-served weapon that can fire from a tripod-mounted position or from a vehicle mount, with the latter being the preferred method, as the weapon alone weighs 77.6 pounds (35.2 kg).

    …technically* man-portable.

I suspect it has limited applications, with regular machine guns being preferred because of their comparatively lighter weight, cheaper operation and probably larger magazines all of which makes them more versatile.

I see you’ve never practiced fire-and-manoeuvre with a 12.7mm MG… Anything is man-portable if your sergeant says so.

Joke aside, I guess your right, with drones probably having largely taken over the role of hitting trenches due to their higher accuracy.
