Twistier: The noises were never his cat and their house has been haunted the entire time. Or, maybe a squatter that just knows how to hide really well…

Edit: my writing is horrible when I’m waking up

I had a family member die almost 3 years ago. It doesn’t feel like they are dead. It just feels like I haven’t talked to them in a couple weeks.

We made it less than two weeks without a new dog; the silence around the house was what did it. We were so lucky to have found our latest sweetheart at the humane society. She loves everyone, is as smart as I’ve ever known a dog to be, and is so easy around people. Sometimes good things can come from bad ones.

What’s that green text of some dude hearing noises in his house and shouting “you better not make me come over there and sew your ass shut with this knitting needle!” ?

My boy cat died five years ago. I still sometimes wake up in the morning to find myself petting a lump of blanket that is the same size as he was. My girl cat died last summer and when I plop down in my recliner I still leave room on the footrest for her to jump up. I can’t bring myself to get another cat yet, although I hope for the sake of other cats that I can eventually do it.
