From my experience, people usually leave their office PC running 24/7 if it’s not a laptop that they’d take home. Some companies use the night time to apply updates and such. Usually the display turns off after a while, but there are definitely people that would disable that for one reason or another. (Or the impact moved mouse/keyboard to wake the screen up)
That looks pretty awful. And, to be clear, I’m talking about working in a giant open bullpen arrangement like that.
