Do you know any Linux distros reviewers that is inquisitive about distros being actually open source (public configuration and possibility to build a system image) and respectful of unredestributable proprietary programs (Chrome, Spotify, Oracle Java…), because I don’t know any, it is several years that I read news and reviews; these 2 aspects are never present. I don’t know if it is the same for video reviews.
Uploading an ISO on SourceForge/OSDN with GPL license or similar but no public configuration and no possibility to build yourself the system image isn’t “making open source”
Also a reminder that Chrome, Spotify, Oracle Java, Visual Studio Code (Microsoft proprietary binary) have unredestributable license unless you have an agreement with them.
