Palermo Airport on the Italian island of Sicily was closed after a fire raged just outside its perimeter.

Yeah, I’ve had August vacation plans to go to Italy for months now, and I decided to push them back to November instead.

My travel companions are still going though, I definitely don’t think they realize the severity of the situation.
