Actually, most vapers I know of know exactly how to quit. It’s actually very simple and convenient.

Vape juice comes in a wide range of nicotine strengths, including 0. So anyone who wants to quit can (and many do) accomplish it simply by incrementally decreasing the nicotine strength of their juice until they reach 0. Then they’re done.

And broadly, why is it that every one of these articles is painfully obviously written by somebody who really knows next to nothing about vaping?

Articles like this are a little more than concern trolling for clicks. Informing the reader with good journalism is not a point.

Same way you quit smoking: cold turkey.

Yeah, it’s unpleasant. But it’s the method that’s the most effective.

It’s been over a decade since I had a cigarette.

That’s what I did, kinda realized it was a stupid habit that wasn’t benefiting me in any way, and just stopped. First two weeks were tough but I haven’t been tempted to buy another since.

I gotta say, I still love the smell of cigarettes and cigars. If it wasn’t 1) expensive, and 2) was going to kill me, I’d probably still be a smoker. It’s not hard to resist after all this time, but I still miss it slightly. Kinda like one of my exes. Who also would have ended up killing me. :)

Don’t pick up an addiction unless you’re mature enough to handle it. Whatever happened to personal responsibility?

Many people become addicted before they develop personal responibility. Many of my friends who smoke started by having a few cigarettes in high school, many of them their parents would smoke and bum them some cigarettes.

Many also assume they can keep it just a weekend thing but it catches up to them one day.
