Edit: Due to the vague implications of the above comments, I was under the impression that the claim was Clintons’ intention to get Trump elected. Many, many comments later, it was explained that the more rational claim of encouraging Trump to run was because they thought he’d be an easy opponent to beat. - She completely and utterly failed to campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin, assuming she’d win them by default
