Most “burn-in” is actually image retention, which goes away after a few minutes. You’ll almost certainly see image retention long before it becomes permanent burn-in. Generally speaking, burn-in is something to be aware of, but not worry about. I only play docked so this isn’t a problem for me but then again it’s not the new Switch I would have liked to see.
minus-squareNinmilinkfedilinkarrow-up2·3 years agoI’ve just had phones where the navbar has burned in and the OS gives no way to fight back (inverted colors, etc), but I suppose that won’t be an issue with Switch then.
