And that is why I wish we could get more well-supported devices running Mobile Linux. It’s beautiful, it’s privacy-oriented, it gives you incredible freedom and customisation, etc.

It looks great (although a bit too much like Android), but judging from some videos they really need to work on the performance of Plasma Mobile on the PinePhone (after all their official flagship device).

Yes, performance is very laggy and there are a lot of bugs still. But it reached the point where it can be used as daily driver (as I do use).

Phosh is there for those who don’t like Android-like experience, and it is also more stable than Plasma Mobile and bugs get fixed faster and the development is more active.

I really wonder why there is not more love for Lomiri (former Unity8), it is fast, looks great and gesture based control is soooo much better that software buttons once you take 5 minutes to get used to it.

I haven’t tried Lomiri yet. Arch doesn’t ship with it yet, and Manjaro is still in alpha (not even beta) stage with it.

You can always try Ubuntu Touch with it (best with the kernel update branch apparently).

I prefer rolling distro and more comfortable with Arch. I can’t wait for new updates at the earliest!
