the solution is easy, Kim Jong Un should change his hairstyle and start growing a beard. see? wasn’t that hard, was it?

      /s

seriously though, I’m genuinely confused. basically you guys are saying that all those stories about North Korea are factually incorrect? what is your evidence? I mean it isn’t possible that all media outlets are lying to us.

You have to read @CriticalResist8@lemmygrad.ml’s post to grasp the situation of North Korea; https://lemmygrad.ml/post/25498

Western media is if not all, most of the defectors are forced to act. Make sense of course since they want to frame DPRK as some evil country when in reality North Koreans just trying to survive.

Then there are the defectors. More often than not, they are abducted and forced to live in the puppet state known as South Korea. They are monitored 24/7 by the national intelligence service (NIS). They are not allowed a passport, because they could go back to the DPRK with it. They are held hostage in enemy territory. Then they turn your people against you. They turn you into a defector. They urge you to say ludicrous things on TV if you want to get out of their cells. And because people don’t want to hear the same tame stories for the 15th time, they give you scripts that get more and more outrageous as time goes on.

One of those defectors that was spied by the NIS was interviewed here, (I think It’s shadow banned): https://youtube.com/watch?v=1OZMe0W0wW8

no offense, but the post doesn’t really give me any sources. and a video of a single person talking isn’t really going to make anyone rebuke mainstream media. so I ask again, is there any evidence that I can see for myself?

            You could read the history of the Korean War, relating to US anti-communism. you shouldn’t really ask a person like me since I just started learning about north korean history just around yesterday. but here’s some I know;

Nutomic’s linked video already proven that the media has lied about the bizarre hair rule in DPRK, it never existed. so you shouldn’t trust Western Sources; looking at their war history you can tell that they very much hate communists including DPRK.

Back in 2017 north korea offered to scrap It’s nuclear program twice in three months, if the US ended It’s hostile policy and nuclear threat. but they refused to negotiate on numerous occations; https://www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-missiles/white-house-again-rejects-talks-with-north-korea-on-nuclear-issue-idUSKCN1C72KV and yet the US claims to want no war.

2017, at the same year the US President Donald J. Trump has sanctioned North Korea. it lowered North Korea’s GDP to -30%. Six times worse than the financial crisis in the US back in 2008. The people in north korea was suffering because of this.

I read the article, but I couldn’t find where it says they were offering to scrap their nuclear tests. was it mentioned in a different article?

They clearly stated this in this article; https://www.38north.org

We will, under no circumstances, put the nukes and ballistic rockets on the negotiating table. Neither shall we flinch even an inch from the road to bolstering up the nuclear forces chosen by ourselves, unless the hostile policy and nuclear threat of the U.S. against the D.P.R.K. are fundamentally eliminated

the website is protecting itself from me (as if I intended to attack them), but honestly that quote is more like a “we will continue doing what we’re doing” instead of "we will stop doing it if you treat us well. they’re saying that they won’t “put the nukes and ballistic rockets on the negotiating table”.

the previous article you linked says

Tillerson said on Saturday during a trip to China that the United States was directly communicating with North Korea on its nuclear and missile programs but that Pyongyang had shown no interest in dialogue.

so the US was trying to negotiate, but DPRK didn’t accept any negotiation. I don’t know how these are meant to confirm your previous claim.

That was unless the US give up their hostile policy and nuclear threat. how they say it doesn’t change what they meant.

“The only conversations that have taken place were that … would be on bringing back Americans who have been detained,” Sanders said. “Beyond that, there will be no conversations with North Korea at this time.”

lol, ok it’s possible that people are lied to on a constant basis about things like how comanies care about our privacy or how in animal agriculture they treat animals well or how capitalism is the only possible or just socio-economic system and things like that, but outright lying? give me evidence which I can personally verify that validates your claims, that’s all I’m asking for.

The fact that they can play host to tourists and useful idiots doesn’t mean squat. If North Korea is so free, why doesn’t its citizens have, say, freedom of movement to leave and come back?
