I’m trying to imagine the look on their faces as some naked (ex?) vatnik flops into their trench. I wonder if it happens a lot though?

Frankly, if it doesn’t, that’s probably a bad thing. If someone’s going to die anyway, if killing them isn’t going to incur a huge cost to the other side, and that soldier isn’t really in a position to really have much more effect, it’s probably generally preferable that they surrender. So if there are few people surrendering, that’s probably because the mechanism isn’t there to surrender. Like, there’s no convention in place that people trust to use to surrender, or it’s too hard to work out the logistics of surrender.

It it might be a not-insane idea to have an “overwatch” drone – maybe the drone that often has been taking footage of the explosive-bearing drone hitting someone, maybe acting as a radio relay for it – have a speaker, or if it’s too-risky to pull that down to low altitude, to involve another drone to do that sort of thing.

It looks like they have worked out how to surrender - drop everything and strip to underwear
