    I think it’s time to do some grassroots industry campaign for basic goods.
    People chip in and get their basic goods really cheap, everyone that didn’t chip in still gets it cheaper than at the competition, and profits go into automation, so we can produce with less work and even cheaper

    If we create enough to cover basic necessities, we can actually live without much work

    As we can’t rely on cooperations to give us the wins of automation, we should do it ourselves now.

    Besides real direct basic democracy, I think, that would be a good way to go.
    And we can start rather small and build up, depending on how big the movement gets.

    But maybe I don’t know enough about the different industries to really have a say…

    Edit: as the aim here isn’t profit, but cheap (ultimately: free) basic needs/utilities, we can even open source all the stuff, so other countries can build up on the experience and we would have real sharing of technology around the world

    Well, probably getting a bit utopian again, but that would be the idea
